Buddy cop film starring Dame Judi Dench as Detective Ginny Swine and Martin Lawrence as Detective Vance Simmons.
Detective Swine is a recovering alcoholic nearing retirement. Simmons is the wise-cracking former crack addict, who has just graduated to detective.
Together they find comfort in each others hard-ass cop methods and share the pain of being former addicts.
